2008 Firefly Night Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley
Sensory Evaluation:
Medium deep color with a dark red hue. Complex nose of dried herbs, underwood, ripe dark and red fruits and subtle earthy notes. Soft in the entry, the wine picks up flesh and weight in the midpalate, with balanced fruit flavors and moderate acidity that compliment the round tannins in the finish.

2008 LUMINESCENCE 100% Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley
Sensory Evaluation:
LUMINESCENCE is our reserve 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. We chose grapes from four vineyards from all areas of Napa Valley to bring together a Cabernet Sauvignon with all the different characteristics Napa Valley has to offer. We consider all of our wines to illuminate, but we feel this wine shines the brightest.
Deep, dark red color with a garnet hue. A complex nose of refined red and black fruit aromas that are layered, complimented by the subtle oak notes. On the palate, it is marked by roasted coffee grounds, dried currant, mineral and sage notes. It is full bodied, with touches of cedar and tobacco in the finish, anchored by dense tannins.

2008 Lone Oak Vineyard Pinot Noir – Santa Lucia Highlands
Sensory Evaluation:
Fleshy and delicious from the start, our single vineyard Pinot Noir has a lovely soft, velvety texture. Deep and rich in color, the complex layers of black cherries and berries perfectly mingling with hints of cinnamon and spice are softened by smokey undertones. The long spicy finish is lively and satisfying. This wine, in its youth, is ripe, assertive, intense, and concentrated. We encourage decanting and aerating to bring out the intricacies of the flavors. Proper cellaring of a few years will allow the spicy components to flourish raising this wine from stellar to extraordinary.

2008 Pinot Noir – Santa Lucia Highlands
Sensory Evaluation:
Scents of plums, hardwood smoke, and caramelly oak are the first impression of this outgoing wine. Full and somewhat fleshy in texture, our Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir combines red and black fruits, and a hint of jamminess with soft, smokey undertones. The mellow flavors are kept on course by enlivening acids in the latter palate and finish. After aeration, hints of cola and wood spice intensify in this lovely Pinot Noir.

2008 Split Rock Vineyard Chardonnay – Sonoma Coast
Sensory Evaluation:
Rich and bold, this chardonnay is a delightful balance of fresh fruit and the richer and more serious Burgundian style flavors of tart apples, zest, mixed ripe melon, green pear, and a touch of honey. All mingle perfectly with notes of oak, spice and a hint of butter. The natural crisp acidity that is derived from the Sonoma Coast area is coupled with a minerality and freshness all its own. The contribution from the French Oak is sweet, spicy and rich, creating a wine with an opulent creamy middle palate that carries the fruit into a long and soft, but persistent finish.
